Recently, Locarno celebrated the great success of its 78th Film Festival, marking one year since the rebrand that prominently features Tim Flach’s photography.

Fifteen years after capturing the festival’s first leopard, Tim - together with Jannuzzi Smith - reimagined the creative spirit of the festival, producing striking still and moving portraits of the festival’s iconic ‘Golden Leopard’.

The result is a series of unforgettable images that bring the festival’s spirit to life and reveal Locarno’s new living symbol—fierce, real, and full of presence.
